Timber Site Hoarding
Timber Hoarding is site boundary fence, usually erected before demolition of a building or around a building site before building works start.
Timber Hoarding is a relatively cheap way to secure the site while works are on-going to prevent members of the public from entering the site and to keep all personnel and machinery inside the work site.
Timber Hoarding Specification: Although timber Hoarding seems fairly standard there are many different options to change the specification to your requirements. Leigh Standard Hoarding consists of 12mm plywood sheets nailed to 3no 87mm x 38mm timber rails supported on 100mm x 100mm posts.
However you can change the size of the posts or rails or even add more rails to make it even more secure. Also you can upgrade the plywood sheets to 18mm thick or even marine grade plywood to increase the longevity of the fence. Obviously all of these upgrades also increase the cost.
You can also add a skirting to the top and bottom to improve the look of the Hoarding from the outside as well as joint strips as you wish. And of course all of this can be painted in colours of your choice.

You may wish to add a single or double leaf gate to you site Hoarding. The timber Hoarding gates can be made with a timber frame, or a metal frame if the gate is required for an extended period.
